The proposal of the"creative conversion and innovative development"policy brings important enlightenment to the inheritance and development of excellent traditional Chinese culture in the new era.Chinese martial arts,as a typical representative of excellent traditional Chinese culture,should strive to achieve its creative conversion and innovative development,thus accumulating strength for the inheritance of ethnic traditional sports culture.This research uses the methods of literature review and logical analysis to expound the value connotations of this policy in Chinese martial arts.It argues that this policy is the necessary choice for Chinese martial arts to"guard the roots"and"forge the soul",is the inevitable path for the great development and prosperity of Chinese martial arts culture,and is the necessary measure for Chinese martial arts to keep pace with the development of globalization.However,the"creative conversion and innovative development"of Chinese martial arts culture still faces the realistic difficulties of traditional martial arts culture losing its voice,popular martial arts culture losing its position,and competitive martial arts culture losing its authenticity.Therefore,following the principles of comprehensive understanding,discarding the dross and select the essential,and returning to the origin while opening up new paths,this paper proposes the"creative conversion and innovative development"paths of creating the concept for traditional martial arts culture to improve the discourse system,branding for popular martial arts culture to reshape the social values,and building characteristics for competitive martial arts culture to consolidate the cultural subjectivity.
