Archery Skills and Social Interaction:Cultural Heritage and Modern Transformation of Wuzhuang Bow-Drawing in Shanxi in Song Dynasty
Taking Wuzhuang bow-drawing,a traditional archery skill,as research object,this study analyzes the motivation of its historical and cultural development and discusses its cultural heritage and modern transformation paths.Through field research,oral history and logical analysis,it explores the historical development and social interaction of Wuzhuang bow-drawing and probes into its roles and significances in different historical stages from historical origin and military application to cultural integration.It explains its cultural heritage on the levels of artifact,institution and spiritual culture,which forges its unique cultural identity and social practice values.It analyzes Wuzhuang bow-drawing's inheritance strategies and collective memory construction and realizes continuous cultural dissemination and innovation in the process of modern transformation.The study suggests that Wuzhuang bow-drawing accelerates participations and cultural identity through promotion activities and education,and realizes modern transformation strategies of the integration of sports and tourism in local development,which not only promotes the development of national fitness activities,cultural heritage and local tourism,but also provides new perspectives for the understanding and protection of traditional Wushu culture,and references and enlightenment for modern development of other ethnic traditional sports.
