Reinspection on Physical Activity Promotion for the Elderly in China from the Perspective of Physical Literacy
In the new stage of development,physical activity promotion for the elderly is an inevitable requirement for comprehensively promoting the construction of Healthy China.Through the methods of literature review,logical analysis and interviews and from the perspective of physical literacy,this study explores the relationship between physical literacy and healthy aging,inspects the internal logic of physical activity promotion for the elderly in terms of realistic and theoretical ways,analyzes the developmental dilemmas in physical activity promotion for the elderly,and puts forward corresponding paths to alleviate them.It concludes that physical activity promotion for the elderly currently faces multiple developmental dilemmas,such as marginalization of body,lack of environment,temporal and spatial fragmentation and weak evaluation.Accordingly,the study proposes the following paths to alleviate the dilemmas in physical activity promotion for the elderly:focusing on body functions to enhance the initiative;strengthening temporal and spatial adjustment to ensure the continuity;focusing on physical experience to increase the participation rate;and constructing evaluation system to enhance the standardization.
