Using methyl oleate and maleic anhydride(MA)as raw materials, methyl oleate succinic anhydride(ASA),methyl oleate succinic acid(MSA),methyl oleate monomethyl succinate(MMS)and methyl oleate dimethyl succinate(MDS)were prepared as anti-rust additive. The structures of four anti-rust additive were analyzed and determined by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry, electrospray ionization mass spectrometry,Fourier transform infrared spectrum and nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy, and the antirust properties of four anti-rust additives in hydrogenated diesel and 150SN lubricating base oil were investigated. The results show that when the mass fraction of MSA and MMS added in hydrogenated diesel is 25 and 50 μg/g,respectively,the antirust effect can reach the rust-free level. When the mass fraction of MSA and MMS added in lubricating oil is 50 μg/g,respectively,the anti-rust effect can reach the rust-free level.Besides, the MSA acid value is 100 mgKOH/g lower than the industrial anti-rust additive T746,and MMS acid value is 50 mgKOH/g lower than the industrial anti-rust additive T747,which is suitable for modulating steam turbine oil and hydraulic oil with low acid values.
