Current status of prenatal anxiety and depression and its influencing factors among primiparas
Objective To analyze the prevalence of prenatal anxiety and depression and explore its influencing factors among primiparas so as to provide references for guiding the treatment and prevention of prenatal anxiety and depression in primiparas.Methods First-time pregnant women who delivered in the People's Hospital of Suzhou New District from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Social demographic information was collected by a questionnaire survey,and the status of anxiety and depression was evaluated by Self-Rating Anxiety Scale(SAS)and Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS).The single factor x2 test and multi-factor logistic regression model were used to analyze and explore the relevant influencing factors.Results The total detection rates of prenatal anxiety and depression in 214 primiparas were 14.95%and 28.04%respectively.Poor family relationship(OR=1.763,95%CI:1.170-2.656)and friend relationship(OR=1.986,95%CI:1.258-3.135)were risk factors for anxiety.Primiparas with age ≥ 35 years old(OR=1.835,95%CI:1.320-2.550),marital dissatisfaction(OR=2.296,95%CI:1.041-5.052)and poor family relationship(OR=2.250,95%CI:1.025-4.938)were more likely to be positive for depressive symptoms.Conclusion Prenatal anxiety and depression are prevalent in primiparas.Age,marital status,family relationship and friend relationship are the factors influencing prenatal anxiety and depression.Clinicians should proactively pay attention to the psychological state of pregnant women and actively develop measures to avoid the occurrence of prenatal anxiety and depression.
