Multimorbidity of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia and its related influencing factors among residents aged 35-75 years in Zhong County,Chongqing Municipality
Objective To analyze the multimorbidity of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia and its relative affecting factors amongst residents aged 35-75 years in Zhong County of Chongqing Municipality. Methods From 2021 to 2022,a multi-stage random sampling method was used to select 5,659 subjects for questionnaire survey, physical examination and blood biochemical test. The data were collated and analyzed by SPSS 22.0 software. The differences in multimorbidity of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia(shortened to three diseases)among different variables were tested by x2 test or trend X2 test, and the correlations of different variables with multimorbidity of three diseases were analyzed by multivariate logistic regression. Results A total of 5,659 residents aged 35-75 years were investigated, with an average age of(58.71±9.54)years.1,927(34.05%)residents were males, and the age standardized prevalence rates of hypertension, hyperglycemia and hyperlipidemia were 35.91%,26.36%and 36.33%respectively.The age standardized prevalence rate of multimorbidity of three diseases was 7.48%.Multivariate logistic regression analysis displayed that males(OR=1.264,95%CI:1.038-1.540),50-59 years old(OR=2.425,95%CI:1.655-3.553),60-69 years old(OR=4.486,95%CI:3.066-6.564),70-75 years old(OR=4.412,95%CI:2.930-6.643),appropriate physical exercise(OR=0.780,95%CI:0.651-0.934),adequate sleep(OR=0.752,95%CI:0.611-0.928),family history of hypertension(OR=1.389,95%CI:1.074-1.798),overweight(OR=1.279,95%CI:1.047-1.563),obesity(OR=4.141,95%CI:3.005-6.484),and central obesity(OR=2.190,95%CI:1.740-2.757)were associated with multimorbidity of three diseases. Conclusion The prevalence rate of multimorbidity of three diseases among residents aged 35-75 years in Zhong County is high;it is therefore necessary to control and intervene the related risk factors, implement co-management of three diseases and strengthen weight management.
