Effect of the pharmaceutical care model based on"Internet+"on blood pressure control level and medication adherence in patients with hypertension
Objective To explore the influence of the pharmaceutical care model based on"Internet+"on blood pressure regulation and medication compliance among hypertensive patients, and to provide references for improving rational drug use and prognostic outcomes. Methods Two hundred hypertensive patients treated in Shanghai Pudong New Area People's Hospital from October 2021 to October 2023 were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method. The control group received routine pharmaceutical management, while the observation group received the pharmaceutical care model based on"Internet+".The blood pressure control level, medication adherence, medication safety and medication satisfaction of the two groups were compared. Results After 6 months of follow-up,11 cases dropped out from the observation group, with the leavings of 89 cases.16 cases dropped out from the control group, with the leavings of 84 cases.Compared with the control group, the blood pressure level and the qualified rate of blood pressure control in the observation group increased, and medication adherence as well as pharmaceutical service satisfaction were improved, showing statistically significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The incidence rate of cases with adverse drug reactions in the observation group was 24.72%,whereas that in the control group was 20.24%,showing no statistically significant difference between the two groups(x2=0.497,P=0.481).The wrong disposal events caused by adverse drug reactions, such as self-discontinuation,switching and dose reduction in the observation group were timely corrected. Conclusion The pharmaceutical care model based on"Internet+"can boost blood pressure regulation and medication adherence of the hypertensive patients, and is also conducive to standardizing the patients'disposal of adverse drug reactions so as to improve the patients'rational drug use and prognostic outcomes.
