Objective By analyzing the serum monitoring of suspected individuals with brucellosis(abbreviated as brucellosis)in Jinghai District,Tianjin from 2019 to 2023,to understand the positive rate and epidemic characteristics of brucellosis in Jinghai District,and to be helpful for relevant departments to formulate corresponding prevention and control measures,improve prevention and control levels,and protect the health of key populations.Methods One thousand and five hundred serum samples from key populations of brucellosis in Jinghai District from 2019 to 2023 were detected using Rose Bengal Plate test(RBPT)and in vitro agglutination test(SAT),and their positive rates and epidemic characteristics were analyzed.Results Among 1 500 suspected people,122 were positive for brucellosis,the positive rate was 8.13%,and showed an increasing trend year by year.The positive rate of males was 10.11%and that of females was 5.32%.The positive rate of males was more than that of females,and the male-female ratio was 2.7∶1.The positive titer of SAT test was 1∶100,accounting for 23.77%,followed by 1∶200,accounting for 22.13%,followed by 1∶400,accounting for 18.03%.Over the past 5 years,the titer of positive antibodies against brucellosis has remained at a relatively high level.Conclusion Analysis of the serum test results of 1 500 suspected individuals with brucellosis in the past five years shows that the positive rate of brucellosis continues to rise in Jinghai District,Tianjin.It is necessary for the government to take the lead,and various departments and medical institutions to cooperate in prevention and treatment to reduce the positive rate of brucellosis.
