Objective To analyze the application value of platelet parameters combined with bone marrow smears in the diagnosis of blood diseases. Methods Sixty-three patients with hematological diseases were select-ed as the observation group(divided into acute leukemia(AL)group(21 cases),idiopathic thrombocytopenic pur-pura(ITP)group(21 cases),and aplastic anemia group(AA)(21 cases)according to the type of disease).Sixty-three healthy examinees who came to the hospital during the same period were selected, and all examinees under-went bone marrow smear and platelet involvement testing. The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of different testing methods were compared. Results Compared with the control group, the levels of PCT and PLT in the AL group,AA group, and ITP group were lower(P<0.05),while the levels of PDW were higher(P<0.05).The MPV levels in the ITP group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while the MPV levels in the AL and AA groups were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The positive detection rate, sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of bone marrow smear and platelet parameters were 85.7%(54/63),98.0%(49/50),61.5%(8/13),and 90.5%(57/63),which were higher than those of bone marrow smear at 82.0%(41/50),23.1%(3/13),and 69.8%(44/63)(x2=7.111,3.939,8.433;P=0.008,0.047,0.004).Conclusion The use of platelets in combination with bone marrow smear diagnosis in the diagnosis of hematological diseases can effectively distinguish between healthy in-dividuals and patients with hematological diseases,as well as several disease types such as AL,ITP,and AA.The sensitivity, specificity, and accuracy of combined diagnosis are higher than those of single bone marrow smear di-agnosis.
