Objective To analyze the practical application value of chemiluminescence method and tolui-dine red unheated serum test in syphilis detection. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to analyze the laboratory data of the reverse syphilis screening process.867 patients admitted from January 2022 to June 2023 were tested for antibody screening by chemiluminescence method. The positive samples were retested by non-Tre-ponema pallidum antigen serum Toluidine Red unheated test. The detection results of syphilis by the two methods were analyzed. Results Among the 867 samples,6 cases were positive by chemiluminescence detection, and 6 cases were retested by toluidine red unheated test. The results were positive in 4 cases and negative in 2 cases. When the S/CO value of the chemiluminescence method was>10.the toluidine red unheated serum test had a high positive rate of re-examination.Conclusion The patients underwent antibody screening test by chemilumines-cence method, and the positive samples were detected by non-Treponema pallidum antigen serologic test. The de-tection rate of chemiluminescence method is high. The confirmed syphilis patients still need toluidine red unheat-ed serum test for titer determination to observe the curative effect,follow-up and monitor whether there is recur-rence.A variety of detection methods are used comprehensively,it can improve the accuracy of syphilis detection and better guide the treatment and management of patients.
