Objective To analyze the effects of percutaneous radiofrequency ablation on the clinical efficacy and tumor volume of patients with liver cancer. Methods Eighty cases of patients with liver cancer who were received diagnosis and treatment in our hospital from January 2021 to January 2023 were divided into groups based on the computer random number table method. The treatment method of 40 patients in the control group was liver tumor resection, and the treatment method of 40 patients in the observation group was percutaneous liver puncture radiofrequency ablation. The clinical efficacy, liver function, tumor volume and serum tumor markers of the two groups were compared. Results After treatment, the total effective rate was 72.5%(29/40)in the observation group and 50.0%(20/40)in the control group. The comparison between groups showed that the observation group had a significantly higher rate(x2=4.266,P<0.05).The levels of TBIL,ALT and AST in the observation group were lower than the control group at 3 days after treatment(P<0.05),and there was no statistical difference in liver function indexes between the two groups at 30 days after treatment(P>0.05).At 3 d and 30 d after treatment, the tumor volume of observation group was smaller than the control group(P<0.05).At 3 d and 30 d after treatment, the expression of y-GT,AFP,CA125 and CEA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Percutaneous liver puncture radiofrequency ablation during the treatment of liver cancer patients is helpful to improve the clinical efficacy, reduce the degree of liver function impairment, reduce the tumor volume,as well as promote the further downregulation of serum tumor markers.
