Objective To analyze the establishment and implementation effect of breast-feeding medical joint clinic.Methods To establish a joint clinic team for breast-feeding,formulate the service process,standardize the service content,provide health consultation and psychological support for pregnant women,and solve the problem of breast-feeding.A total of 108 cases of pregnant women admitted to the hospital from April 2022 to April 2023 were equally divided into two groups by using a random number table,and were respectively given routine guidance on breast-feeding and combined outpatient guidance on breast-feeding care,which were represented by the control group and the observation group.Breast-feeding behavior,psychological state,self-efficacy and incidence of breast-feeding related risk events were observed and compared between the two groups.Results The exclusive breast-feeding rate and breast-feeding self-efficacy score at 1 month and 6 months postpartum in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the Edinburgh postpartum Depression Scale score,the incidence of chapped nipple,breast swelling and mastitis were lower than those in the control group,with statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusion The establishment of a breast-feeding clinic to provide high-quality guidance and consultation for pregnant women can effectively improve their awareness of breast-feeding,improve their breast-feeding behavior,psychological state and self-efficacy,and reduce the incidence of related risk events.
