Objective To analyze the surveillance results of respiratory multiple pathogens in five sentinel hospitals in Chaoyang district of Beijing in 2023 and to grasp the epidemic characteristics of respiratory infectious diseases in Chaoyang district.Methods A total of 1 321 patients who underwent pathogen monitoring at 5 sen-tinel hospitals in Chaoyang District,Beijing,from January to December 2023 were collected as the study subjects,and throat swabs were collected from all patients.Multiple fluorescent quantitative PCR was used to detect in-fluenza A,seasonal influenza A H3,new influenza A H1N1,influenza B,influenza B BV,influenza B BY,2019-nCoV N gene,2019-nCoV ORF1ab gene,mycoplasma pneumoniae,respiratory syncytial virus,adenovirus,rhi-novirus,parainfluenza 1,parainfluenza 2,parainfluenza 3,parainfluenza 4,human metapneumonic virus,en-terovirus,coronavirus HKU1,coronavirus 229E,coronavirus OC43,coronavirus NL63 and chlamydia pneumoniae.Results The results of the multi pathogen examination showed that 633 patients(50.84%)were detected with one pathogen.76 were detected with multiple pathogens(≥2 pathogens).There was no statistically significant differ-ence in the detection rate of pathogens among patients of different genders(P>0.05).There were statistically sig-nificant differences between different ages in adenovirus,respiratory syncytial virus,mycoplasma pneumoniae,2019-nCoV,influenza B BV,seasonal influenza A H3,and human metapneumonic virus(P<0.05).There were no statistical difference in the detection rates of rhinovirus,human metapneumonic virus,enterovirus and parainfluenza 2 in different seasons(P>0.05),but there was a statistical difference in the detection rates of other pathogens in different seasons(P<0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the age composition ratio between different seasons(P<0.05).There was statistically significant difference in the detection rates of different types of cases,including coronavirus 229E,seasonal influenza A H3,influenza B BV,and adenovirus(P<0.05).Conclusion The top five pathogens detection rates are seasonal influenza A H3,mycoplasma pneumoniae,respiratory syncytial virus,2019-nCoV and adenovirus in 2023,in Chaoyang district,Beijing.Gender has no significant impact on the pathogen detection rate.The pathogen detection shows significant associations with age,season and case type.
