Objective To investigate the features of female sexual dysfunction(FSD)in type 2 diabetic patients(T2DM)and to analyze its risk factors. Methods From September 2022 to December 2023,252 female inpatients and outpatients with type 2 diabetes in the Endocrinology Department of our hospital were selected.According to FSFI indexes in the sexual function questionnaire,252 female T2DM patients were divided into experimental group 1(simple diabetes group)with 120 cases, and experimental group 2(diabetes+FSD)with 132 cases and 138 healthy women as the control group. The risk factors for FSD were analyzed using logistic regression analysis. Results The incidence of FSD in type 2 diabetes mellitus was 52.4%(132/252),which was higher than that in the control group[25.4%(35/138)].Compared with the control group,E2 in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 decreased, and FSH,LH,and P increased(P<0.05).Comparing the same factors in experimental group 1 and experimental group 2(P>0.05).Compared with the control group, ratings on six dimensions of sexual function and overall rating for experimental group 1 and experimental group 2 decreased(P<0.05).Compared with experimental group 1,ratings on six dimensions of sexual function and overall rating decreased(P<0.05)in experimental group 2,logistic regression analysis showed that age,menopause,BMI,HbA1c,and 25-hydroxyvitamin D were risk factors for type 2 diabetes with FSD.Conclusion The prevalence of FSD in patients with type 2 diabetes is significantly higher than that in patients without diabetes, and age,menopause,BMI,HbA1c,and 25-hydroxyvitamin D are the main risk factors.
