Objective To explore the application of multi-tissue embedding in the production of HER2 immunohistochemistry positive controls.Methods The remaining breast cancer tissues that meet the clinical diagnosis of the Pathology Department of Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University were collected.The tissues that defined as HER2 immunohistochemistry(IHC)scores of 0 or+or++or+++were selected for multi tissue embedding and made into positive control wax blocks.Results HER2 IHC scores of 0 or+or++or+++were observed in the control tissues of each histological slice.Conclusion Multi-tissue embedding can be well applied in the production of human epidermal growth factor receptor-2 immunohistochemistry positive controls.
