Objective To analyze the effects of glycosylated hemoglobin, hemoglobin level and body mass index on pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Methods A total of 82 pregnant women with gestational diabetes who underwent prenatal examination and delivery in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2023 were included in the study, and they were divided into standard met group and standard not met group according to the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin and hemoglobin before delivery.According to different weight gain criteria, the diabetes group was divided into three subgroups, the group with excessive weight gain, the group with appropriate weight gain, and the group with insufficient weight gain.Maternal complications and pregnancy outcomes with different glycosylated hemoglobin and hemoglobin levels were compared. To compare pregnancy complications and outcomes of women with gestational diabetes mellitus in different stages of gestational weight gain;To compare the effects of different glycosylated hemoglobin, hemoglobin levels and gestational weight gain on the complications of pregnancy and postpartum, fetus and neonatal in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus. Results The incidence of gestational hypertension, macrosomia, preeclampsia and postpartum hemorrhage was lower in standard met group(P<0.05).The incidence of macrosomia and postpartum hemorrhage in the group with excessive weight gain was higher than that in the group with appropriate weight gain, the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in the group with insufficient increase was higher than that in the group with insufficient increase, and the incidence of postpartum hemorrhage in the group with insufficient increase was higher than that in the group with appropriate increase(P<0.05).There was a positive correlation between adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus and the non-standard levels of glycosylated hemoglobin, hemoglobin and weight gain(P<0.05).Conclusion Inadequate prenatal hemoglobin Ale and hemoglobin levels increase the risk of gestational complications, adverse pregnancy outcomes, and neonatal complications, and excessive weight gain will increase the incidence of macrosomia and postpartum hemorrhage.
