Objective To investigate the effect of immediate dental implantation without flap flap in the treatment of anterior or premolar tooth defect.Methods Seventy-two patients with anterior or premolar tooth defect treated in our hospital were collected and divided into group A and group B according to surgery,with 36 cases in each group.The selection time interval was set from January 2022 to December 2023.Group A underwent immediate flap implant,group B underwent immediate non-flap implant.The relevant indexes were compared between the two groups after treatment.Results Compared with before treatment,pink estheticscore(PES)increased in both groups after 6 months of treatment,and higher in group B;After 3 days of treatment,the score of visual analogue scales(VAS)was decreased in both groups,and the score was lower in group B.After 6 months of treatment,the depth of gingival groove and the resorption of alveolar crest in group B were significantly lower than those in group A.After 1 month of treatment,the number of cases of pain(13 cases vs 5 cases),bleeding(11 cases vs 3 cases),redness and swelling(10 cases vs 4 cases)in group B was significantly lower than that in group A[86％(31/36)vs 64％(23/26),x2=4.741,P=0.029].After treatment,the total satisfaction of repair in group B was significantly higher than that in group A,and the above data were significantly different with statistical significance[94％(34/36)vs 75％(27/36)],x2=5.258,P＜0.05).Conclusion Immediate dental implantation without flap can improve postoperative aesthetics,relieve pain,reduce gingival crevicular depth and crest resorption of alveoli,reduce the risk of postoperative complications,increase the success rate of implantation and improve patient satisfaction.
