Objective To analyze the pathogenic nucleic acid test results of hand-foot-mouth disease(HFMD)in Jinghai District,Tianjin from 2020 to 2023,understand the epidemic characteristics and typing of HFMD in Jinghai District,and provide scientific basis for the prevention and control of HFMD in Jinghai District,and protect the health of key populations.Methods Real time fluorescence real time PCR was used to perform specific nucleic acid detection for enterovirus universal type(EV),enterovirus 71 type(EV71),CoxV-A16,CoxV-A10,and CoxV-A6,which cause HFMD.Results The incidence rate of HFMD in Jinghai District from 2020 to 2023 was 10.12/100 000,41.88/100 000,4.33/100 000,101.10/100 000,and the average annual incidence rate was 39.11/100 000.Among 242 positive fecal samples,the positive detection rates of enterovirus types EV,EV71,CV-A16,CV-A10,and CV-A6 were 13.6%,0%,11.2%,9.5%,and 65.7%,respectively.The positive rate of CV-A6 was significantly higher than other subtypes,with male cases accounting for 56.2%and female cases accounting for 43.80%.The ratio of male to female patients was 1.28:1,with more male patients than female patients.The age of the patients is mainly concentrated between 2-5 years old,accounting for 59.50%.Conclusion In the past four years,CV-A6 infection has been the main cause of HFMD in Jinghai District,with the age range of onset concentrated between 2-5 years old.Due to the fact that HFMD is mainly transmitted through respiratory droplets or direct contact,in children,who are lively and prone to movement,have a high tendency to gather and have weak hygiene awareness,it has a relatively fast transmission speed.In order to achieve early detection,treatment,and isolation,it is necessary to further strengthen the epidemic prevention publicity and nucleic acid testing of HFMD in this area,improve the sampling quality of HFMD disease case specimens,increase detection efficiency,and provide reference for the prevention and control of HFMD in Jinghai District.
