Objective To observe the application effect of synchronous chemotherapy with radioactive particle implantation in the clinical treatment of non-small cell lung cancer. Methods Ninty-two patients with non-small cell lung cancer admitted to Fuwai Hua Zhong Vascular Disease Hospital from June 2022 to March 2024 were randomly divided into two groups using the envelope method. The control group(41 cases)received chemotherapy treatment, while the study group(51 cases)received chemotherapy treatment combined with radioactive particle implantation. The application effects of the two groups were compared. Results The objective response rate and quality of life(FACT-L)of the study group were higher than those of the control group in terms of Karnofsky(KPS)score, and the levels of cytokeratin 21-1 fragment(CYFRA21-1),vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF),carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125),and carcinoembryonic antigen(CEA)were lower than those of the control group. The median progression free survival was longer than that of the control group(P<0.05),and there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion In the clinical treatment of non-small cell lung cancer, concurrent chemotherapy with radioactive particle implantation can effectively alleviate high-level expression of tumor markers, improve patients'quality of life, and ensure treatment safety and effectiveness.
