Objective To explore and analyze the clinical value of intravoxel incoherent motion magnetic resonance(MR)imaging in identifying lymph node metastasis in ovarian cancer. Methods A total of 72 cases of patients with ovarian cancer who visited our hospital from July 2021 to June 2024 were selected as the research subjects. All patients underwent intravoxel incoherent motion diffusion MR imaging(IVIM),and imaging features and parameters were recorded. All patients underwent surgical pathological examination as the gold standard to assess the clinical value of IVIM in identifying lymph node metastasis in ovarian cancer. Results Among the 72 patients, surgical pathological examination identified lymph node metastasis in 12 cases that accounted for 16.7%.In the metastatic group,T1WI showed lesions with adjacent tissues appearing as low signal, and T2WI showed lesions with uneven isointensity, with compressed and thinned tissue;in the non-metastatic group,T1WI showed adjacent tissues with isointensity signal, and T2WI showed lesions with irregular high signal foci, unclear morphology, and indistinct boundaries. With b values of 500 s/mm2 and 1 000 s/mm2,the apparent diffusion coefficient(ADC),D value, and D*value in the metastatic group were significantly lower than those in the non-metastatic group(P<0.05),and the f value was significantly higher compared to the non-metastatic group(P<0.05).Among the 72 patients,11 cases were identified as lymph node metastasis by IVIM imaging, and 8 cases were identified as lymph node metastasis by conventional MR Examination. The sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of IVIM imaging in differentiating lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer were higher than those of conventional MRI.Conclusion IVIM imaging has a high potential in the diagnosis of lymph node metastasis of ovarian cancer, and can provide a reliable.
