Objective To analyze the imaging characteristics of patients with knee meniscus injury diagnosed by multi-slice spiral CT and MRI,and to explore the clinical diagnostic value of the combination of the two. Methods From January 2022 to December 2023,150 patients with knee meniscus injury were included as the research subjects. All patients received multi-slice spiral CT and MRI diagnosis.Taking the results of surgery or arthroscopy as the gold standard, the detection of multi-slice spiral CT and MRI,the diagnostic efficacy of multi-slice spiral CT,MRI and their combined examinations was analyzed. The imaging characteristics of CT and MRI were compared. Results A total of 24 cases were missed and 9 cases were misdiagnosed by CT,8 cases were missed and 4 cases were misdiagnosed by MRI,1 case was missed and 0 case was misdiagnosed by combined diagnosis of CT and MRI.The sensitivity, specificity, positive predictive value and negative predictive value of combined diagnosis were higher than those of single diagnosis.MRI diagnosis of meniscus and ligament injury, joint cavity effusion, bone marrow edema, articular surface injury detection rate were higher than that of CT diagnosis(P<0.05).Conclusion There are differences in the imaging characteristics of meniscus and ligament injury, joint cavity effusion, bone marrow edema, articular surface injury in patients with knee meniscus injury using multi-slice spiral CT and MRI,and the combined diagnosis of the two can improve the diagnostic sensitivity.
