Design and Evaluation of Titanium Tubing Thread Connection
Owing to the unique properties of titanium alloy,conventional carbon steel tubing thread connections cannot be directly applied to titanium alloy materials.This paper introduces the design,development,and evaluation process of a threaded structure suitable for titanium alloy tubing.We successfully design a special threaded structure and conduct API 5C5-2017 four-level evaluation tests.The test results indicate that the threaded structure is fully applicable to titanium alloy tubing and has certain potential for widespread application.
