Mechanical Analysis of a Directional Guiding Mechanism
The mechanical analysis of guiding mechanism is the basis of guiding tool design and trajectory control.Based on the design of a directional guide mechanism, different mechanical models were established by means of crossbar analysis and finite element method, and mechanical analysis was carried out on the housing, guide shaft and centripetal joint bearing, respectively,to study the bias force, bit incli-nation angle and stress of the bearing subjected to different installation positions of the guide mechanism, and the influence of the stiffness ratio between the housing and guide shaft on the bias force. Finally, the optimal installation position(0.3 m away from the bearing)of the guide device and the stiffness ratio(=5)between the shell and the guide shaft are given to ensure the rationality and feasibility of the design.
