Influence of Sand-CO2-SRB on Corrosion Behavior of L360N Carbon Steel
The hydraulic fracturing development of shale gas brings serious corrosion risks to gathering and transportation pipelines on the ground, but the influence of multi-factor corrosive medium on carbon steel is still unclear. In this work, the combined influence of sand,CO2 and SRB on the corrosion behavior of L360N carbon steel was studied through immersion experiment with high temperature and high pressure and microscopic morphology observation. The results show that the synergistic effect of SRB biofilm and sand can decrease the gen-eral corrosion rate of carbon steel and increase the local corrosion rate of carbon steel. The sand has little effect on the ion transportation of dissolved carbon dioxide and the interfacial microenvironment between carbon steel and solution.Besides, the sand has little effect on the function of corrosion inhibitors and fungicides, therefore the corrosion inhibitors and fungicides can be widely used as a protective measure of pipelines in shale gas.
