Research progress of CAR-T cell therapy for colorectal cancer
In recent years,the incidence and fatality rate of colorectal cancer have increased year by year in China.The patients receive a comprehensive treatment plan including surgical treatment,adjuvant chemoradiotherapy,targeted therapy,immunotherapy,etc.However,most patients are in the advanced stage when they visit doctor,loosing surgery opportunity,therefore the 5-year survival rate is low.CAR-T cell therapy is an individualized plan to re-infuse chimeric receptor T lymphocytes prepared by gene modification technology after expanding in vitro into patients,and it has made a breakthrough in the treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukemia.CAR-T cell therapy on solid tumors such as esophageal cancer,stomach cancer,breast cancer and colorectal cancer has also been widely carried out.This paper reviews the research progress of the principle,main targets and existing problems of CAR-T cell therapy for colorectal cancer.
