Clinical Study of Nourishing Yin,Soothing Liver and Removing Blood Stasis Combined with Dapagliflozin in the Treatment of Female Sexual Dysfunction in Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus
Objective:To analyze t he curative effect of nourishing yin, soothing liver and removing blood stasis combined with dapagliflozin in treating female sexual dysfunction in type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Method:Sixty female T2DM patients with sexual dysfunction from January to April,2023 were randomly divided into control group and study group, with 30 cases in each group. The control group received treatment with dapagliflozin and metformin, while the study group received treatment with dapagliflozin combined with metformin and traditional Chinese medicine nourishing yin, soothing liver, and removing blood stasis, for a total of 3 months. The differences of blood glucose indicators, sex hormone levels, liver and kidney function, sexual dysfunction and adverse reactions between two groups were compared. Results:After 3 months of treatment, the score of female sexual function index(FSFI)in the study group was higher than that in the control group, while glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c)and fasting blood glucose(FPG)were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).After 3 months of treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in serum follicle stimulating hormone(FSH),luteinizing hormone(LH)and estradiol(E2)between the study group and the control group(P>0.05).However,compared with before treatment, serum E2 increased while LH and FSH decreased(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the levels of serum alanine aminotransferase(ALT),serum aspartate aminotransferase(AST),serum creatinine(SCr),urea nitrogen(BUN),and incidence of urinary tract infections between the two group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The method of nourishing yin, soothing liver and removing blood stasis combined with dapagliflozin caneffectively reduce blood glucose level of female T2DM patients and reduce the degree of sexual dysfunction, will not affect liver and kidney function or increase adverse reactions, ensuring medication safety.
