Study on Catgut Embedding Therapy of Slow Transmission Constipation Based on the Guidance of Meridian Detector of Traditional Chinese Medicine
Objective To observe the curative effect of acupoint selection based on meridian detector and traditional acupoint catgut embedding in the treatment of slow transit constipation. Methods A total of 70 patients with slow transmission constipation who visited the anorectal outpatient department of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Baotou Medical College from March to December 2023 were selected and divided into the experimental group and the control group according to random number table method, with 35 patients in each group. The control group was given traditional acupoint embedding treatment, and the experimental group was given the combination of acupoint embedding treatment guided by the meridian detector. The clinical efficacy, gastroenteric electroencephalogram(EGG)and quality of life(QOL)scores of constipation Patients Symptom Rating Scale(PAC-SYM)and constipation Patients Quality of Life Scale(PAC-QOL)were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).After treatment, the PAC-SYM and PAC-QOL scores were decreased in both groups, and the decrease was more significant in the experimental group(P<0.05).After treatment, the improvement of frequency and amplitude of gastroenteric EEG in the experimental group was significantly better than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of acupoint embedding therapy for slow transmission constipation guided by TCM meridian detector is better than that of traditional acupoint embedding therapy, which can improve the frequency and amplitude of gastroenteric electroencephalogram detection and improve the quality of life of patients.
