Establishment and Capacity Analysis of Platelet HLA/HPA Donor Database in Nanchang
Objective To establish the database of platelet donors in Nanchang, collect donor information of known human platelet antigen(HPA)and human leukocyte antigen(HLA)genotypes for digital matching, provide matching platelets for patients with ineffective transfusion, analyze the existing capacity level, make adjustments and improvements as needed. Methods Study the genotypes of HPA-(1~6,10,15,21)and HLA-A/B of 361 voluntary blood donors in Nanchang were detected by multiple fluorescence PCR method, and the gene frequency and haplotype frequency were calculated.A regression equation was derived to find at least one HLA/HPA genotype matched donor. Results According to statistical analysis, there were 361 platelet donors in the database of Nanchang area, about 92%of the patients were able to find HPA genotype matched donors, the probability of finding at least one identical HLA-A/B donor was about 26%.In addition, through regression equation analysis,it was found that the storage capacity level was related to factors such as the number of blood donors and the degree of genotype matching. Conclusion The distribution of HLA/HPA in different regions makes the mode of platelet donor database construction and the optimal capacity vary based on actual conditions and needs.Inorder to establish a platelet donor database in the Nanchang area,it is necessary to expand the range of donor choices to meet the needs of more patients.
