Correlation between serum IL-1β,IL-10 expression and illness degree in patients with allergic rhinitis
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression of serum interleukin-1β,IL-10 and illness degree in patients with allergic rhinitis(AR).Methods 60 cases of AR patients admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to July 2023 were selected as the study group,and were divided into mild group,moderate group and severe group according to the severity of AR disease,with 20 cases in each group.At the same time,60 healthy subjects were selected as control group.The serum IL-1β,IL-10 lev-els of the study group and the control group were compared,and the serum IL-1β,IL-10 levels of AR patients with different illness de-grees were analyzed,and the correlation between serum IL-1β,IL-10 and the illness degree of AR patients was analyzed by Logistic re-gression.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)was used to analyze the diagnostic value of serum IL-1β,IL-10 in AR patients.Results The serum IL-1β level of the study group was higher than that of the control group,and the serum IL-10 level was lower than that of the control group,with statistical significance(all P<0.05).Serum IL-1β level in severe group was higher than that in mild and moderate groups,and serum IL-10 level was lower than that in mild and moderate groups,with statistical significance(all P<0.05).Correlation analysis showed that serum IL-1β was positively correlated with the severity of AR(r =0.730,P<0.001),and IL-10 level was negatively correlated with the severity of AR(r =-0.747,P<0.001).Ordered Logistic regression analysis showed that high expression of serum IL-1β was a risk factor for worsening disease in AR patients(OR =2.270,P<0.001),and high expression of IL-10 was a protective factor for worsening disease in AR patients(OR =0.320,P<0.01).ROC curve analysis results showed that the area under the disease curve(AUC)of serum IL-1β,IL-10 and combined detection the disease condition in AR patients were 0.876,0.888 and 0.940,and the diagnostic value of combined detection was higher than that of single detection.Conclusion The expres-sion of serum IL-1β,IL-10 in patients with AR is closely related to the illness degree of patients,and the illness degree can be judged by detecting the expression of serum IL-1β,IL-10 in patients with AR.
