Effects of comprehensive pulmonary rehabilitation program on fatigue and mo-tor function in patients with acute ischemic stroke and severe hemiplegia
Objective To investigate the effect of comprehensive lung rehabilitation program on the incidence of pneumonia,post-stroke fatigue and motor function in patients with severe hemiplegia after acute ischemic stroke. Methods 151 patients with severe hemiplegia after acute ischemic stroke were selected as the research objects from June 2020 to June 2022.78 subjects were selected im-plemented routine treatment and nursing as the control group from June 2020 to June 2021.73patients were selected implemented com-prehensive lung rehabilitation program from July 2021 to June 2022 as the experimental group. Before and after the implementation, the fatigue severity scale(FSS)was used to evaluate the fatigue degree of patients, and the Fugl Meyer assessment(FMA)was used to e-valuate the motor function of patients, and the incidence of pneumonia in the two groups was compared. Results The scores of fa-tigue severity in the control group and the test group decreased, and the scores in the test group were significantly lower than those in the control group(t =2.973,P =0.008);the FMA scores of the control group and the test group were improved, and the scores of the test group were significantly higher than those of the control group(t =2.668,P =0.05).The incidence of pneumonia in the control group was 21.79%(17/78)and that in the experimental group was 8.22%(6/73).There was significant difference in the incidence of pneumonia between the two groups(χ2 =5.382,P =0.020).Conclusion The implementation of comprehensive lung rehabilitation program can reduce the incidence of pneumonia in patients with severe hemiplegia after acute ischemic stroke, reduce the degree of post-stroke fatigue, and improve the motor function of patients. It is worthy of clinical application and benefit more patients.
