Effect of ulinastatin combined with continuous blood purification on APACHEⅡscore and inflammatory factor level in patients with severe sepsis
Objective To investigate the effects of ulinastatin combined with continuous blood purification(CBP)on acute physiol-ogy and chronic health status score system(APACHEⅡ)and inflammatory factors in patients with severe sepsis. Methods The clinical data of 86 patients with severe sepsis admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to March 2024 were retrospectively analyzed and divided into control group(n=43)and observation group(n=43)according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with CBP,and the observation group was treated with ulinastatin combined with CBP.Both groups were treated continuously for 7 days. The clinical efficacy, acute physiology and chronic health status scoring System Ⅱ(APACHEⅡ)scores,C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin 6(IL6),tumor necrosis factorα(TNFα),interleukin 17(IL17),D dimer(DD)and procalcitonin(PCT)levels of the two groups were compared. Results The total effective rate of the observation group was93.02%,which was higher than that of the control group(74.42%),and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the APACHEⅡscore of observation group was lower than that of control group, and the levels of CRP,IL6,TNFα,IL17,DD and PCT were lower than those of control group, with statistical significance(all P<0.05).Conclusion In the treatment of severe sepsis,ulinas-tatin combined with CBP can effectively reduce systemic inflammation, relieve the condition, improve the prognosis and promote the re-covery of patients.
