Analysis of influencing factors of traumatic stress disorder in ARDS patients after ventilator withdrawal
Objective To analyze the influencing factors of post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)in patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)after ventilator withdrawal. Methods A total of 94 ARDS patients admitted to our hospital from March 2021 to August 2023 were selected as the study objects. The post-traumatic stress disorder(PTSD)scale-civilian version was used to assess the complications of PTSD,and the general data of patients were recorded in a self-designed baseline data questionnaire.Logis-tic regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of PTSD in ARDS patients after withdrawal. Results After the withdrawal of ARDS,30 cases were complicated with PTSD(31.91%).Non-concurrent PTSD64 cases(divided into non-concurrent PTSD group). The proportion of patients in the concurrent group with primary or junior high school education, mechanical ventilation time>7 days, negative coping style and introverted personality characteristics were higher than those in the non-concurrent group, and the differences were statistically significant(all P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the general data between the two groups(P>0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that educational background of primary or junior high school, mechanical ventilation time>7 days, negative coping style and introverted personality were the influencing factors of PTSD in ARDS patients after withdrawal(P<0.05).Conclusion The influencing factors of PTSD in ARDS patients were negative coping style, long ventilation time, low educational background and introverted personality.
