The Effect of Histrionic Personality Propensity on Social Media Use Behavior
With the popularization and immersion development of Internet technology,social media has gradually become the most important platform for individuals to reveal themselves.Users'histrionic personality propensity(HPP)will have an important impact on public opinion.The study uses structural equation modeling to analyze howhistrionic personality propensity influence social media use and the results show that when using social media,users'HPP positively influences the opinion leadership propensity(OLP),self-disclosure(SD)and fear of missing out(FoMO).Users'OLP can positively influence SD and negatively affect FoMO.Users'SD positively influences FoMO and users'SD plays a mediating role between HPP and FoMO,and between OLP and FoMO.The research results confirm the important position of"performance"talent in the promotion of opinion leaders and the operational logic of the platform,which provides an important theoretical basis for Internet public governance at the macro level and social media environment adaptation at the individual level.
