Disaster Prevention Challenges and Toughness Design of Urban Underground Space
In recent years, urban underground spaces have experienced increasing number of risk types and disaster challenges, such as floods, fires, earthquakes and sudden epidemics. If the underground space lacks corresponding disaster response capabilities, not only disaster risks will be exacerbated, but also easily cause multi disaster coupling and cascading effects. Therefore,it is urgent to improve the toughness design level and disaster response capacity of underground spaces.Based on this, the toughness connotation was explored to propose the composition and func-tional requirements of resilient urban underground space systems;Depth analysis and research have been conducted on the shortcomings of traditional underground space disaster prevention concepts, such as insufficient consideration of surrounding environmental changes, insufficient understanding of disaster warning in the design stage, and in-complete existing regulatory standards;Innovative technologies and effective measures for enhancing the toughness of urban underground space disaster prevention were studied from four dimensions of flood, fire, seismic and epi-demic.This research result can provide reference for further improving the design concept, methods, and level of toughness disaster prevention in underground space structures.
