Shear Resistance Performance of Waterproof Adhesive Layer of Polyurethane Steel Bridge Deck Pavement
Polyurethane steel bridge deck pavement material has excellent comprehensive road performance,whose application is expected to solve the problems of poor durability and short service life of traditional asphalt steel bridge deck pavement material under the harsh environment of steel bridge.However,there is little research on the appro-priate waterproof adhesive layer material.Therefore,under polyurethane paving layer,the shear strength test of two kinds of waterproof adhesive layer materials(polyurethane adhesive and epoxy resin adhesive)was carried out.The changing law of interlayer shear properties of the structure was analyzed under the influence of waterproof adhesive coating amount,layer material,gravel spreading amount and curing time.The results show that the shear resistance of the polyurethane waterproof adhesive layer is significantly better than that of the epoxy resin waterproof adhesive layer.That increasing the coating amount of waterproof adhesive layer can increase the bonding area of the interface.But too thick coating will cause decrease of the shear strength after the peak;The shear strength of the specimen with dry waterproof adhesive layer is the best and the one without dry is the worst;The gravel spreading amuont will also affect the shear strength of waterproof adhesive layer,so the amount should be reduced under the satisfying construction conditions.
