Analysis of Optimization Design of Transverse Connection of Hollow Slab Bridge with Limited Beam Height
Taken the reinforcement project of a hollow slab overflow bridge with limited beam height as an example, the stress state of hollow slab beams and hinge joints of old bridge was analyzed in detail by establishing finite ele-ment solid model. The results showed that the hinged joints between original hollow slabs were easily damaged and affected the lateral force transmission of the structure under heavy loads because the small cross-sections and com-plex forces. The low design load and weak reinforcement of the original bridge caused many diseases under the ac-tion of load and environment. In order to completely solve the diseases of bridge structure, the upperstructure was replaced after the substructure reinforcement.A kind of prestressed hollow slab beam with transverse wet connection was designed with the limited beam height.Through comparative analysis, the new hollow slab beams have opti-mized the transverse connection, improved the transverse stress state of joints, improved structural integrity,bear-ing capacity and durability, accelerated construction speed and reduced river occupation. At present, the modified bridge is in good condition. The design and reinforcement scheme can provide reference for similar projects.
