Study on Base Gradation Design and Mechanical Properties of Lime-Fly Ash Stabilized Recycled Materials
In order to obtain the appropriate dosage of recycled brick mixture for road base mixture, the relationship between the mix ratio and mechanical properties of lime fly ash stabilized recycled material base was studied.Firstly, the gradation design of the mixture was carried out,and the proportion of coarse aggregate was determined by grad-ing filling vibration test; Then, the proportion of fine aggregate was determined by indoor compaction test. The mix-ing way of recycled material was determined by crushing value and unconfined compressive strength; Finally, under different dosage of recycled materials and lime fly ash stabilized inorganic binders, the unconfined compressive strength and compressive resilient modulus tests were carried out to determine the variation of mechanical properties. The results show that the compactness is the best when the proportion of coarse aggregate is 19:22:17 and the pro-portion of fine aggregate is 42.5%;The brick-concrete ratio replaced by recycled material is 4:6 with the order of particle size replacement is 10~20 mm first and then 5~10 mm;The maximum compressive strength on 7 d and 28 d reach 1.347 and 2.756 MPa respectively, and the increase of the amount of recycled materials was similar with the attenuation trend;Under high recycled material content, the compressive resilient modulus with 20%~25%lime fly ash dosage on 180 d is better; The fitting degree of unconfined compressive strength on 7 d and 180 d is higher. The feasibility of construction waste coarse aggregate for road base is verified by the mix ratio design scheme, and the relationship model between compressive rebound modulus and compressive strength value is estab-lished,which provide reference for the application of construction waste in road base construction.
