Research on Influence of Temperature Effect on the Loss of Cable Force During Cable-stayed Bridges Tensioning
In order to investigate the influence of temperature effects on the loss of cable tension during the tension-ing process of cable-stayed bridges,a full bridge finite element model was established by Midas civil software based on the Xiaofei Bridge project in Shengzhou,Zhejiang Province.Combined with the measured data of cable force and tower-beam displacement during the cable tensioning process, the loss of tension was studied and the mechanism of temperature on the loss of tension cable force. The results indicated that temperature effects cause deformation dis-crepancies of the main tower, main beam and cables, and then cause the uneven loss of cable force.Based on these findings, recommendations for suitable environmental conditions for cable tensioning in cable-stayed bridges were proposed, providing important references for the design and construction of similar types of cable-stayed bridges.
