Ammonia Nitrogen Pollution Control Strategy and Water Quality Standard Safeguard Measures for Surface Water in a County
A county is one of the birthplaces of ionic medium and heavy rare earths, and the in-situ leaching rare earth mining process has caused a certain degree of ammonia nitrogen pollution in surface water. This paper summa-rized the status of ammonia nitrogen pollution in surface water in this region, analyzed the pollution hazards of am-monia nitrogen in water to human health and ecological environment, proposed a water ammonia nitrogen pollution control strategy combining"source control, sewage interception, dredging and restoration",and proposes source control measures such as ammonia-free leaching and optimization of leaching process, dredging measures such as manual dredging and biological dredging, and restoration of water bodies from in-situ and off-situ sources. Finally, the water quality safeguard measures are expounded from the perspectives of organization and management,institu-tional measures and financial guarantee, aiming to lay the foundation for the control of ammonia nitrogen pollution in water bodies.
