Research on the Fine Processing of Airborne Point Cloud Data and the Application of Large-scale Topographic Map Surveying and Mapping
In order to explore the application benefits of refined airborne point cloud data in large-scale topographic mapping and improve the accuracy of drawing digital topographic maps based on airborne point cloud data,a strip terrain with big modeling difficulty was selected as the measurement area to obtain a point cloud model. The point cloud data had been fine-grained preprocessed by of LiDAR 360 software to improve the ground fitting of point cloud models.A large-scale topographic map with a scale of 1:500 was drawn by point cloud models and 3D real-life models. The accuracy of the topographic map was analyzed based on 100 verification points obtained from GPS-RTK.The research results indicate that the use of model quality and precise processing methods for surveying and mapping can improve the ground fitting of point cloud models, and the drawn topographic maps meet the requirements of 1:500 large-scale topographic maps.
