Study on Multiple Water Quality Causes of Sewage Pipeline Diseases in Industrial Agglomerations
Pollution burdens in industrial agglomerations have continuously increased, causing the service life of re-gional sewage pipelines to be lower than that of municipal sewage pipelines.Currently, the causes of sewage pipe diseases in industrial agglomerations are not clarified, lacking of studies on water quality. Thus, typical pipe disease sites in the industrial agglomeration area of H city were taken as objects.Multifaceted water quality causes were ex-plored for two scenarios,i.e.,in-situ disease for polluted sewage and crystalline for multi-strand sewage intersect-ing,respectively to discuss the cause of multi source water qulity. The results showed that high concentrations of crystallization tendency ions SO42-and Ca2+were the main reasons for in-situ clogging occurrence in manhole and midway pumping stations;Sediment siltation sites were not severely diseased, while the higher DOC content required pipe should be desilted timely to prevent serious accessibility;Sewage discharged from a single chemical plant didn't cause direct clogging. But only at the intersection of three kinds of chemical sewage pipe sections, occurred repeated crystallization and with clogging degree showed aggravating trends. Then, the pipeline fouling material diffraction pattern was highly coincident with CaSO4·2H2O.Briefly,reducing water quality risky indicators and rationally ar-ranging enterprise structure are effective strategies for controlling pipe diseases in industrial agglomerations.
