Stress Analysis of the Anchorage Zone of the Concrete-filled Steel Tube Composite Pylon
Because of advantage of the high compressive bearing capacity of concrete-filled steel tube,a steel tube concrete composite bridge tower structure of cable-stayed bridge was proposed. The anchorage section of the cable tower adopts a cable tower anchorage structure with independent anchorage and force transmission, which maxi-mized the compressive performance of concrete-filled steel and the bending performance of steel box concrete.A solid finite element model was established to analyze the stress characteristics of the steel plate, concrete, and PBL connector. The anchorage zone of the cable tower was simplified into a planar frame model. The estimation methods for the bending, shear, and eccentric tensile bearing capacity of the tower wall were provided. The research results indicate that all parts of the cable tower stressed well.
