Research on Optimization Design of a Reservoir and Flood Control Pump Station in Xi'an by InfoWorks
The problems of low standards of outlet drainage design and insufficient drainage capacity in a certain rainwater outlet in Xi'an are analyzed in this article.The necessity of building a new rainwater outlet reservoir and flood prevention pump station is introduced,and then the engineering location and layout form are determined;Based on the inference formula method and InfoWorks simulation method,the rainwater design flow is calculated.The storage tank volume are calculated by three methods,and the pump station scale corresponding to the three stor-age tank volumes are determined by InfoWorks software simulation.The reservoir of 27 000 m3 and the flood control pump station scale of 63 m3/s are determined to be the optimal combination by scheme comparison and analysis.A rainstorm process is completely simulated through the pump station-resrevior simulation running flow hydrograph and the flow pattern is simulated by computational fluid dynamics(CFD).After the construction of the rainwater pump station,the drainage capacity of the area will increase from 9.6 m3/s to 96.0 m3/s.The return period of rain-storm increases from 1.5 a to 5 a;The regulating reservoir can effectively reduce the peak flow rate and maximize the control of surface runoff pollutants discharged into the river.
