Design Case of Filled Materials of High Filled Airport in Expansive Soil Areas
In order to solve the obvious expansion and contraction of expansive soil filler and the sharp decline of strength under the alternating action of dry and wet environment,and the disease of the pavement and slope of the high filled airport,an airport in southwest China is taken as an example,and how the pavement impact zone and the stability impact zone of the fill slope are filled with the medium~strong expansion potential filler is discussed.According to the expansive soil improvement test,when the cement content is 10%,the total expansion and contraction rate of the improved soil meets the requirements of no more than 0.7%.But,there is a gap between the water content of the improved soil and the optimal moisture content,and measures such as turning and stirring are needed to reduce the water content before filling and rolling;During filling,the expansive soil is filled inside,and moisturizing and anti-seepage measures of"two cloths and one membrane"can keep the water content of expansive soil stable,reduce the deformation of expansive soil to meet the filling requirements.The above-mentioned measures can ensure that the water content of expansive soil filler is not affected by the atmosphere and fluctuates,so that it can meet the requirements of airport road engineering;That full use of expansive soil filler in the field,which is conducive to environmental protection and saving engineering investment.
