Effect of Temperature-matched Maintenance on Strength of Concrete with High-volume Fly Ash
Temperature matching maintenance is a synchronous curing method for mass concrete, which aims to match the curing temperature of the specimen with the temperature history inside the concrete structure,so as to more truly reflect the strength of the concrete structure.Through the mortar strength test under variable temperature,it is proved that the temperature has significant effect on the strength of cement mortar mixed with fly ash.The stan-dard curing strength test and adiabatic temperature rise test of concrete with large amount of fly ash show that adding 40%~60%fly ash can significantly reduce the adiabatic temperature rise of concrete, and its strength can also meet the construction requirements of mass concrete.Through the test of concrete members, the critical thickness of 50%fly ash concrete members is determined 0.45 m;In the low temperature environment, the thickness should be in-creased to 0.80 m.At the same time, concrete with adiabatic temperature rise and thermal insulation measures should be added.By the engineering case, that the temperature matching curing strength of high volume fly ash con-crete exceeds the standard curing strength in the same period, showing good early strength performance, which pro-vides guidance for the application of high volume fly ash concrete.
