Study on Bridge Deflection Detection Technology Based on Wireless Distributed Millimeter-wave Radar
The bridge load test is an effective means to evaluate the safe load capacity of the bridge. The stiffness in-formation of the bridge can be known by the deflection parameters. The traditional deflection measurement method has disadvantages such as difficulty in measuring point layout, poor accuracy, large environmental limitation and low measurement efficiency; The millimeter-wave radar need install corner reflector which will increase costs and reduce efficiency. Therefore,a wireless distributed millimeter wave radar testing system is proposed to solve the problem of fast and accurate testing of small and medium span bridges.Compared with the traditional method, the accuracy of the system in the deflection test of real bridge load test is verified. Finally, the feasibility of the system is further proved by an example of the bearing capacity evaluation of a simply-supported beam bridge. The results show that wireless distributed millimeter wave radar has obvious advantages and application prospects in deflection mea-surement of load test.
