Research on Risk Control for Shield Tunnels Undercrossing the Adjacent Existing Lines in Soft Soil Strata
In order to study the risk control measures for shield tunnels passing through the adjacent existing lines in soft soil layers, the spatial relationship and engineering difficulties between newly built shield tunnels and the exist-ing operating tunnels were analyzed,as well as the overall protection plan of the existing operating tunnels.A com-prehensive risk control measure was proposed, which includes reinforcement of the existing operating tunnels+re-inforcement of interlayer soil between the existing operating tunnels and newly built shield tunnels+reinforcement of the newly built shield tunnels+automatic monitoring of the existing operating tunnels.A 3D numerical calcula-tion model was established to analyze the deformation and internal force characteristics of the existing operating tun-nels under the most unfavorable working conditions. The analysis results show that both the deformation and internal forces meet the requirements after adopting comprehensive risk control measures, which verified the reliability of the risk control measures. The research conclusions can provide reference for similar engineering design and con-struction.
