In order to better promote the development of Dragon Boat sport in the new era,inherit and carry forward the spirit of traditional national sport,by using the methods of literature review and expert interview,this paper makes a deep research on the modernization transformation of Dragon Boat sport,and summarizes the historical evo-lution of Dragon Boat sport in different periods.The conclusions are as follows:The modernization transformation of Dragon Boat sport is an inevitable trend of historical development.In today's society,Dragon Boat sport can accele-rate its transformation by developing diversified tourism industry,improving Dragon Boat production technology,pro-moting Dragon Boat into the Olympic Games and combining with rehabilitation means.
