Operational Efficiency Analysis of Listed Commercial Banks Under Unexpected Output
The operation of commercial banks is a process of multiple inputs and outputs.Analyzing these input-out-put indicators to study the operational efficiency of commercial banks is of great significance for optimizing the ope-rational process of commercial banks. This article uses two-stage data envelopment analysis(DEA)and multiple li-near regression analysis to identify the three main factors of operational efficiency investment in commercial banks, including the number of employees, fixed capital, and total interest expenditure. The expected operating income and non expected non-performing loans of commercial banks are used as two important indicators for empirical analysis. The results showed that, firstly, the inefficiency of expected output of commercial banks mainly depends on the ine-fficiency of banks'financial investments, with little impact from loan inefficiency.Secondly, among the three factors of regional, employee quality, and commercial reputation of commercial banks, the expected output efficiency of local banks is not as good as that of national banks, but the ineffectiveness rate of non expected output is related to good-will and is not closely related to "whether it is a local bank".Finally, this article proposes some targeted counter-measures and suggestions to address these impacts on the efficiency of commercial banks.
