Investigation and Analysis of Language Assessment Literacy of Foreign Language Teachers:Taking an Application-oriented University as an Example
Through questionnaires and interviews,a survey is conducted on the theory,skills and ability of language assessment literacy of foreign language teachers in an application-oriented undergraduate university.The results show that the overall level of language assessment literacy of foreign language teachers is relatively low,and teachers lack the learning of assessment courses before service as well as assessment training and relevant guidance during service,and even lack the experience of assessment research.From the perspective of teacher's professional develop-ment,teachers lack the initiative and enthusiasm of autonomous learning after service;while in terms of training needs,they have strong desires to participate in assessment training.In addition,the level of language assessment li-teracy of foreign language teachers is significantly related to their participation in assessment training,assessment re-search and test proposition.Based on the discussion and analysis of the current situation,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the level of language assessment literacy of foreign language teachers.
